INTRODUCTION:
In a bustling metropolis like Colombo, the launch of a new shopping paradise isn't just news; it's an event that must reverberate through the hearts and feeds of social media enthusiasts. Eventistry was tasked with the thrilling challenge of launching the Havelock City Mall, an experience that would earn its title as "My Happy Place" for every visitor.
OBJECTIVES:
Our goal was to drive awareness and create a buzz that would make Havelock City Mall the trending topic across social media platforms. We aimed to design interactive installations that would not only captivate visitors but also inspire them to share their joyous moments online, thereby amplifying the launch's reach.
CHALLENGES:
Time was of the essence, with production timelines extremely tight, approvals coming in just days before the launch, and a limited budget. These constraints tested our agility and creativity, pushing us to innovate within limited parameters.
BRANDING & DESIGN:
Our vision materialised into a spectacular 3D entrance arch, embodying the mall's vibrant colors and the "My Happy Place" tagline, which greeted visitors with a grand welcome. Inside, the atrium was transformed with a smiley-face-shaped main stage, reflecting the joyous essence of the mall.
ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES:
- Happy Booths: We introduced “Happy Booths” that turned photography into an adventurous activity. From an upside-down room to a trampoline for action shots, these booths were a social media jackpot.
- Interactive Games: “Happy Stations” like Spin the Wheel and Speed Art infused the shopping experience with fun, engaging visitors in a memorable way.
- Brand Integration: Each element was crafted to be photo-friendly, encouraging visitors to capture and share their experiences, thus reinforcing the mall’s brand identity online.
RESULTS
The mall launch was a resounding success, with visitors flooding social media with their pictures and stories. The buzz created was palpable, with the mall becoming a hot topic among the community.
CLIENT FEEDBACKS
The feedback from the mall management was overwhelmingly positive.
